12.3 CONGEN Input and Output Files

CONGEN has a large requirement for I/O. All of the files are specified via unit numbers in the CONGEN command, so OPEN statements are generally needed to set these up. See Open Command, for more information.

• Backbone Maps: Backbone torsion angle maps

• Sidechain Topology: Sidechain topology files
• Conformation File: CONGEN Conformation file
• Status File: Record of search progress
• Checkpoint File: Saved state of search
